Nova Scotia Community College
The Hugh and Linda Brown Cumberland Award is offered to students attending NSCC Cumberland Campus.
These awards are granted on a renewable basis to full-time and part-time students, with a preference for those from Atlantic Canada. Applications are assessed based on financial need, with consideration of community involvement and leadership.

Pathways to Education
The Hugh and Linda Brown Educational Foundation supports Pathways Program delivery in Saint John and Halifax and provides students with the resources and network of support that they will need to graduate from high school and build the foundation for a successful future. Pathways Program delivery includes a holistic combination of academic, financial, social, and one-on-one supports that are proven to remove barriers to education.

The Prep Academy
The Hugh and Linda Brown Educational Foundation supports the PREP Academy College & University High School PREP Cohort Program at Cobequid and North Nova Education Centre.
The PREP Academy inspires and prepares African Nova Scotian students for college, university, apprenticeship and beyond - teaching students in grades 10, 11 and 12 to plan, prepare and pursue postsecondary education.

Cumberland Health Care Foundation
We support the Cumberland Health Care Careers Bursary, which is an innovative undertaking of the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) and the five health care foundations serving Cumberland County. The primary goal of the program is to assist the NSHA in addressing anticipated human resource shortages in various health care professions in the upcoming years. The program is also intended to encourage Cumberland County's young people to come back to this area to live and work following graduation from post-secondary training.

Children's Aid Foundation of Nova Scotia
The Hugh and Linda Brown Educational Foundation supports the Children's Aid Foundation of Nova Scotia Tutoring Fund. The program provides tutoring/mentoring, student support and online educational resources to children who are in permanent or temporary care in Nova Scotia.

Acadia University
Established in 2022 by the Hugh and Linda Brown Educational Foundation, bursaries are granted on a renewable basis to entering full-time students in any degree program. With a preference for students from Nova Scotia, the bursary is available to Atlantic Canadians in recognition of financial need, and particularly those students from disadvantaged backgrounds or are equity seeking, with a preference for those demonstrating community service.

Holland College
The Hugh and Linda Brown Educational Foundation established annual entrance awards for Maritime students accepted into any Holland College program who demonstrate financial need.

New Brunswick Community College
The Hugh and Linda Brown Educational Foundation Bursary is offered to Atlantic Canadian students attending NBCC, with preference given to those demonstrating financial need.

Amherst Regional High School Scholarships
Through the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia the Hugh and Linda Brown Educational Foundation provides scholarships to students graduating from Amherst Regional High School and pursuing post-secondary studies in Canada.
